TAKEDA TAKEDA SHINGO SOKAKU

Sokaku Minamoto Masayoshi Takeda was born in 1860. Second child was deTakeda & Sokichi, grandson of Takeda Soemon.
Sokaku was a martial artist of great caliber. Since young, his skill with the sword, spear, the range of iron, both (knife) were exceptional. More than once he was attacked and each time showed that the art of his ancestors was more than effective.
Though a short man (4'll ") Takeda won a reputation early on. Although the Shogunate had been abolished with the restoration of Emperor Meiji, Sokaku remained firmly adhered to the precepts of the samurai, ethics and tradition.
legendary
As a member of the Aizu clan and descendant of the Takeda clan, a descendant of Minamoto clan-Sokaku remained faithful to those traditions of which the major part martial arts.
Tanomo Saigo, former minister of the Aizu clan, was the master of Sokaku Oshikiuchi and was Saigo who suggested renaming the art (which was also known as Gotten Jutsu-or art to be used inside the castle Odom, or Otomo ryu, ryu Vamato too) and call Daito Ryu.
past, Daito Ryu was taught only to members of the Aizu clan. Sokaku was the first to teach other people (usually high dignitaries, members of the army, members of the police service, etc..) And at the end of his career as a teacher was (judging from your records) about 3000 students in total.
Sokaku was a very feared. Sometimes he was called to help capture thugs, etc. Because of this reputation he earned the nickname of Aizu have Tengu no Ko (the little devil of Aizu clan).
One of his students, most reputable was Ueshiba Morihei, the founder of Aikido.
Sokaku
Takeda died in 1943.
teachers has been that few can compare in skill, courage, or in adherence to the traditions of old Japan and the precepts of Bujutusu . Sokaku traveled from Hokkaido to Okinawa, being challenged on many occasions. He was never defeated.
Daito Ryu
Students receive inspiration from his memory and feel gratitude for opening the doors of this tradition to others who are not members of the clan. Had it not been for him, Daito Ryu had never been publicly shown no mercy and will probably never have been known outside of Japan.
Takeda
Sokaku paid tribute to the traditions of their ancestors and even today remains a legendary image, which, in some way, totally identified with the spirit of Daito Ryu.

First Time Home Buyer Rebate 2010

The Takeda clan was descended from the legendary Minamoto clan that has much significance for the history of Japan.

The Minamoto clan is full of famous people. A tragic, sometimes heroic, but all relevant.

And Shinra Saburo Minamoto Yoshimitsu (1056-1127) who is credited with the invention of Daito Ryu (Oshikiuchi).
The legendary warrior, Takeda Sokaku ancestor, studied the mechanism of human joints by examining bodies and think-based techniques in their studies. A descendant of the Minamoto is Haranobu Minamoto Takeda Shingen (1521-1573). Of all the daimyo (leaders-name meaning "big name") of the historical period known as Sengoku Jidai is Takeda Shingen.

Although his fame as a warrior and strategist, is considerable, his fame is also associated with wisdom. Takeda Shingen advised to cultivate the mind and the trial.
gain knowledge that we integrate into daily life is fundamental to every individual-advised Takeda.
One of his followers wrote these tips in the work known as "Iwamizudera Monogatari (tales of the temple" Iwamizu "). Shing, and a warrior was a philosopher. Takeda Shingen fought another famous general, Uesugi Kenshin, and both showed huge courage and ingenuity in their campaigns, and both were treated with respect and admiration.
Takeda Shingen died in April 1573, when an enemy sentry shot him wounding him in the head during the siege of Noda Castle (the Akira Kurosawa film "Kagemusha" is based on this incident.) Takeda Shingen
As a legacy left us the symbol of the four diamonds (symbol Daito Ryu), representing the four precepts of strategy (FU RIN KA ZAN):

- Fast as the wind
- Silent as a forest
- Conquer like fire
- Still as a mountain

Shingen Takeda is a legendary figure in Japanese history and of great importance in the history of Daito Ryu.

Jimmu Tenno "The First Emperor" Sekiguchi Komei Sensei

Jimmu Tenno was the first emperor of Japan and founder of the imperial line that extends to today. Jimmu Tenno, whose full name is "Kami Yaniato Ihara Biko 'and his personal name is Demi Hiko Hoho.

Tradition tells us that descends from Ninigi no Mikoto, the grandson of Amaterasu Omikami and is also known for establishing and unifying Japan.

When searching for Jimmu Tenno to strengthen Japan, sailed to the Kumano region (now Wakayama Prefecture). That area (Kii peninsula) was known to be a very mystical place, surrounded by supernatural forces and human wild nature. Even these days many people have the firm belief that the Kumano region is a focus of intense psychic activity. The region is very aggressive as many people might say. There are also many stories of ghosts and spirits violent here.

A recent associations with the images of birds of prey such as eagles and hawks Jimmu Thermo occurred when he was in Kumano.
legend tells us that during a particular battle, a Kite (golden bird species), golden hawk landed on the bow of Jimmu Tenno, gave a mighty shout and issued a bright light that pushed back the opposition forces. Tenno Jimmu images often represented by a Kite in his bow, and from that time until today the symbol of the bird of prey remains intrinsically connected to the traditional Budo, not only as a sacred symbol, but also as a symbol full of meaning, only the light represents the power, energy, concentration, knowledge and life. This is the most important story of Jimmu in Kumano.
The second most important story is the one that tells how, when, upon reaching a certain region of Kumano facing rebel forces, Thermo Jimmu invoked all his energy, he raised his sword and remained in that position, observing the enemy, but without looking at any of them in particular. His energy and spirit merged with his sword, becoming one. He had no need to attack. Not any life snatched. The enemy was useless, impossible haciéndosele any action against him. The mere act of raising his sword with his own energy charged riots subsided, there was no need for further action. In this sense, the sword wielded by Jimmu Tenno was Myo Aiki Ken (sword wonderful life-giving). This story is the first and oldest mention of "the sword that gives life, the divine sword in battle.
There are many symbols that evoke the concept of the divine sword. Many teachers say that the Divine Sword represents the human nervous system, perception (the senses), compassion, gentleness, and harmonized the finer intellect. Which is to say, the best of the human spirit.
Moreover, lower the bar, one that cuts it all, Satsujinken, the sword that kills, the sword is just a mere technical tool, represents the condition of mind, aggression, passion low, low trends. That is, the worst of the human spirit.
The top sword is that which gives life, the sword that heals and purifies, Katsujinken.
This Iki - Ken (sword of life) is the unifying force, the force that revives the twist healing that comes from us and nature. When this sword raised Jimmu Tenno supreme destructive forces were bowed and harmony was restored without bloodshed. Tenno Jimmu grew in power and wisdom, not pride or vanity, with each of these two experiences. He was aware that in both cases reached the victory not for himself but he was the guardian of something greater than it was delivered. He was a mere conductor of ancient wisdom and ancient virtues. Leaving the nest vanity in his heart, could have remained no virtue. The sword that gives life is not an analogy of a superior strategy, or a higher power, but of a great wisdom and a higher spirit.
no real respect the real sense of duty and true gratitude the sword remains in a lower state. It is very difficult for a teacher to describe the meaning of these concepts and teach them further, and to distance people from the lower nature, not because people can not understand but because they are likely to ignore them and reject them.
There is a passage about a samurai who came to pay their respects to a shrine and stayed in a hostel that was close. Another guest of the inn itself asked the name of Kami (god) whose shrine he was visiting. The samurai, who was ready to go to bed at night, politely evaded an answer to the question posed, assuring the other guests that he would be an appropriate response to the following morning. When the caller persisted, the samurai stood up again wore his formal clothes, sitting very straight on the cushion, made a bow, and only then said "Amaterasu Omikami Shimasusume." After which he leaned back, express good night, bending stripped his clothes and lay down to sleep. Only out of respect he could not say the name of the deity in their bedclothes.
For those who understand this, nothing else should be said. They can understand the Sword which gives life. To those who have not understood, nothing more should be said.

Martial Arts in Cuba

(21 and March 22, 2003).
We are here today trying to "decide" the future of martial arts in Cuba, a great responsibility, a difficult task and we wonder if we are prepared and know the true meaning is hidden in the characters (kanji) from the true Budo and Bujutsu, knowing it fully dominate the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. even and could not understand its true connotation, since it is not a semantic problem that defines it, but something entirely spiritual and not even that, we could reassess spending many years in the practice of a particular martial art, since is not the sweat poured and the time spent and the potential of technical skills and to have attained high rank who attest to the vast knowledge of the true Budo (Bujutsu).
To understand this we need first of something high and pure, it takes courage, not the "courage" that is often misinterpreted by relating to rudeness, bullying, arrogance or just doing a great show of our potential abilities. We talked and we talked about the principle and the concept of "Yuki", the modest and quiet courage, the courage it takes to not give in to the "social pressures", such as, for example, bad attitudes of the spirit, the monetary gains , profit, vices, practice witchcraft, etc.., fume these negative and very common these days, closely related to what calling or called unfairly, some, "martial arts" or "combat sports." "It is worth adding that the parallel drawn between the weakness of spirit that promotes a tendency to drunkenness and the use of sorcery or divination to try to see or influence the future, based on which, according to the old codes of Bujutsu (Budo) nor the courage, or loyalty, ethics and integrity an individual who allows these weaknesses are worthy of trust. " As has often taught us: to be Budoka is needed to stop doing foolish things. Thus today we call a deep conscious reflection, all teachers and students who pass through the arduous and profound journey of martial arts, practicing them as it truly is a privilege, which also requires character and relentless dedication, which should not become mere purpose of learning a number of techniques and achieve high levels of strength and physical prowess as many believe, but through them pursued receive and achieve the wise and ancient teachings of true Budo and this does not deserve to be taught to anyone without an iron test that shows loyalty and purity of heart.
The true meaning of martial arts practice inspires humility and compassion as cornerstones wing leading to humans that represent them, to fill your mind with good and great virtues, which are reflected in the transition from trails conducted their lives difficult, but truly worthy from the first time they take a firm decision to acquire in order to transmit love and peace for all the humanity, reason enough to consider who budoka, perfume-flavored spirit immaculate in every action and express the pure feelings drive him to study a martial art, this forged a brilliant and unwavering discipline for fellow citizens, just so he or she will fan the fire of love of justice, honor and kindness, these seeds without which neither students nor Martial arts masters ever consolidated the true and noble purpose of Budo.
instruction martial arts (Budo or Bujutsu) are based on giri (duty of every budoka to his style) and ON (debt of gratitude he feels toward his teacher) without these obligations of honor, without this spirit of gratitude can not and could call Budokas, or express a word connected with the martial arts.
The ancient codes of ethics and conduct written to educate and train the conscience of ancient warriors or martial artists, have not lapsed, on the contrary, in today's world becomes much more valuable, because humanity needs return such as honesty, kindness, loyalty, courtesy, loyalty, honor and courage as new trends, twisting and prevailing painfully cynicism, sarcasm, something as unworthy and obscure to the human spirit to expand beyond the walls of the Dojo poisons society and undermines the contemporary world. Martial arts should and can help save these noble values, because the spirit of Budo is to consider training as something that is offered, not as something that is received, and accepts no dichotomy in the heart of true budoka. It is or is not a true budoka, we can not be men at times and not others. The strength of character required to practice martial arts is like an elixir for the spirit, not as a consuming fire which then gradually turns off. Onishi
Akisaguro Sensei gave us a lesson that we believe is important to mention for those who teach martial arts, he wrote:
"There is merit in teaching techniques only, anyone can give lessons on how to kill. Everything you need for that is latent fear. The hardest thing to teach is how to live. Budo is life and a true master of Budo is one that educates by example and this requires courage and wisdom. Unless we understand these things can not in itself considered a master. "
In the real martial arts, there are no champions or medals or trophies are awarded. There is no other reward than the daily effort in practice style and techniques of cultivation of the spirit, there are no advertisements in terms of exalted rank or personality, but each budoka becomes a representative of his style (Ryu) in the eyes of other unannounced and takes place in the relative anonymity of a real life budoka, there is an incentive that someday he can pass it without changing to other generations.
Belonging to a style is only a privilege, not a right that is achieved by paying a monthly fee, this is something you should never lose sight of (budoka, either student or teacher) should make respectively the right day to be trained or instructed others. This is the difference between the true teachings of Budo and "modern versions of the same" as diluted and ignore the ethical and moral precepts, discipline in which essentially are based martial arts.
budokas The new generation, like generations before, should pursue their art with the same devotion with a concert dedicated to his music or an apostle of their faith. It's more just the offer entirely to the art we learn and transmit, to demand "their benefits."
We have seen with regret and displeasure to individuals who call themselves carrying budokas immodestly on his uniform the family crest (Mon) of its kind, representing a martial art, just above the left side of his chest, which, like all traditional martial art was founded by an honorable teacher and in many cases this was a fitting emblem own standard of a family or clan raised on the battlefield, which we feel is demeaning, seeing manifest incorrectly to these individuals, which often, shamefully, know the origin and philosophy it represents, this is an indelible stain for any Ryu and founding teachers. This can not be defined as Budo, this is cynical. What will we do to solve such shameful acts? What our response to such degrading acts? Even with severe pain might not know, for these reasons we call today to all Cubans budokas not permit or allow others to tarnish the true image of Budo (Bujutsu). The arts we learn and we transmit are not our own, are not sources to augment a monetary treasure, not a commodity to sell, were not created for profit and emerged as a means of exalting our own ego, is a road, a road and a purified path that leads us to forge our identity every day are in our view the most dignified way we can return to our home and found ourselves, are invaluable sources purify philosophical and elevate our lifestyles and living, are the necessary food we consume and serve future generations to never cease to exist and to instruct the most worthy human virtues. This is the true path of a true warrior and a sincere martial artist. The same path represented by the suffix "C" to which teachers referred many times as Morihei Ueshiba O Sensei, Kano Jigoro Sensei, Funakoshi Sensei and former teachers Gishin these as Tanomo Saigo Sensei, Takeda Sensei Sokaku, among many others.
now understand the wisdom teachings of Hanmura Iezuke, who said:
"No instructed in the art of the sword any man who takes delight in war, do not trust who calls himself a "warrior" and is proud of his own skill. A man of true strength and virtue delights in peace and quietly cultivated their spirit, their martial skills are for him a matter of duty, not vanity. "
This is a great truth to remember and turn as something vital in our hearts as we pretend to be martial artists.
question arises again: Is that so much wisdom, so much effort and much love is lost? Is the selfishness, ambition, money, ignorance will have much more courage in our hearts that honor, respect, dignity, decency and spiritual purification of the lives of many men? If the answer is no, we hope to continue calling budokas without shame and get our faces in the eyes of the teachers who came before us, whose images are present in our dojo and out of them or maybe to the people watching worthy. If the answer is yes, then no grounds whatsoever to tread the path of true Budo, the better away forever and let others continue the good causes, "it is better, as expressed Ichikawa Sensei-made diamond pieces a tile intact. " We still have a choice: Create a generation of men unsure of themselves, disloyal, incompetent, lazy and ignorant, are these our future students?
We may be classified as persons lunatic, chauvinistic, dogmatic or obsolete, but we want to see are virtues that should not be forgotten. This was what we were taught and this is what we consider fair for teaching: "True Budo is not a sport, a discipline of body and spirit that requires an absolute commitment, an absolute fidelity and absolute honesty . True Budo is totally incompatible with the arrogance, rudeness, lewdness and selfishness. Technical skill means nothing if you lack the dedication, humility and the right spirit. The student unable to follow these precepts is a hypocrite in art worthy to be taught. "
We caution those who are related to the practice and martial arts instruction. "The virtues of true budoka are tested in everyday life and are not decided in an instant by a referee's flag. The right way, of course, is the most difficult. Betray the weak, the ignorant and stupid reject the insult " as we pointed out the St. Ayako Yamamoto Sensei.
We encourage this vital discussion that we have been taught, for the sake and future of Cuban Budo.

Scholorships For People With Thyroid

"KADO" or "IKEBANA"

"KADO" or "IKEBANA"

("The path or route of appreciate the flowers ")

By Max Roy Fernández Rodríguez

This means the Japanese art of appreciating flowers, emerges as an offering of divine offerings offered by Buddhist monks in ancient times and developed into an independent art form from the fifteenth century with many styles and schools.
This art is a way of showing gratitude to nature and his vision led the human spirit to a level of unselfishness where simplicity and humility are necessary to find true harmony.
you remember more than 3000 schools of KADO. This art was also known by the name of TATEBANA. (RIKK).
Some warriors in awards to the brevity of their lives were inclined to look more intense natural beauty and feel the pleasure in seeing things that others took as a reward: YUMI-MI (Appreciate the Snow), Tsuki-MI (Appreciate the Moon ) HANA-NI (Appreciate the flowers). In fact these forms of assessment were activities of a deeper meaning contemplation as the Shogun Yoshimasa Ryoami wrote: "In reverence and appreciation." Also, Dadoji Yusan wrote: "A man incapable of appreciating the beauty of flowers, should not be trusted to defend the interests of his master, should not be believed his loyalty. "
KADO Many styles were developed according to specific methods and characters: "SHI" Formal, "SO" Informal, "GYO": The interval between the two. Also on the season (station) had and still has great importance in KADO for arrangements, suggesting: Las Camelias (In winter and spring), daffodils (in winter), The Chrysanthemum (Autumn), etc.
The art of flower arrangement began to reach its full flourish in the Muromachi period. Prior to this there was a tradition of arranging flowers in vases, but at this moment in history began to be arranged flowers to enhance the value of the vase. Was Senkei Ikenobo who introduced the flower arrangement in the tea room. Ikenobo School won the full support of the masses and became the representative of this art school. As expected, the floral decoration of the tea room should not aim to produce an effect of elegant beauty, but should express purity and simplicity in their efforts to penetrate the depths of nature.
The Natural World of Japan, has always provided beautiful flowers in all seasons and has decorated the simple beauty of everyday life of Japanese people, this beauty came to have their spiritual significance. At the beginning of period EDO Ikebana (KADO) earned the last qualifying "KADO" (Way of the flowers) with its connotation of spiritual discipline.
Since then, this art has survived. Like the "tea ceremony (cha no yu), the flower arrangement was one of the cultural requirements necessary for the ladies in the Edo period. The tea ceremony and flower arranging are two reflections of Japanese culture. ICHIKAWA
YASUHIRO (Expert Samurai) referred to Kado, poetry, music wing, writing and painting as "the other side of the sword." Belonging to the spirit side. Also others like him inspired by the great beauty, and the subtle, romantic and mysterious of flowers made their case for them as Takahara KYOSHI when he wrote:
"A outside my window is a
Camelia So I do not feel lonely. "

OTHER PERSPECTIVES ON THE "KADO"

The Kado pays great attention to the plants and containers as well as the space around them, distinguishing the simple art of decorative use of flowers.
The style known as the Rikk or TATEBANA ("Agreement upright") is one of the oldest styles of flower arrangement. Prefers arrangements sophisticated attempt to capture the majesty of nature. As speculation is believed to be a way of offering to the deities, the complex symbolism of the Buddhist cosmology, connected to each of the seven branches.
late sixteenth century there was a new form of flower arrangement for tea ceremony, called nageire ("Down or dropped") subsequently culminated in the seventeenth century, we see the emergence of the style or SEIKA Shoko ( "Cut flowers) which mainly consists of three branches composing an asymmetrical triangle. The Shoko was ideal style to convey the essence of plants and their natural line of growth.
In the twilight of the nineteenth century is a resurgence of ikebana, when O HARA Unshine moribana introduced his style ("Flowers piled up") that emphasizes color and natural growth of flowers, flat compositions using almost touch the sides shallow containers.
In the postwar avant-garde IKEBANA a revolutionized the materials considered acceptable. Not only for cut flowers and herbs were used, but also plastic, gypsum and iron were considered suitable to express concepts in surrealist and abstract arrangements. Today there are approximately 3000 schools of Ikebana in Japan. Styles most popular are Ikenobo, O HARA and Sogetsu.

MAIN STYLES AS THE VASE USED

moribana Style, "Flores stacked": Used in shallow vases (Suib) used the Kenzo (Base metal nails). There two forms or styles moribana method: The vertical style and the style inclined. In shallow bowl pour water half way and three main stems are selected for initial flower arrangement. These stems are
SHIN is 11 / 2 look longer than the diameter of the container used, plus the height of it, Shin is the main stem and placed in the vase to 45 ° the left.
SOE: It usually 3 / 4 the length of the Shin. Placed in the vase at 15 degrees to the left.
Hika : The smaller stems (with flowers if possible). Has a length of ¾ length (or half the length) of stem of SOE. Should be placed to the right of the vase.
After selecting these three initial and main stems, branches and complementary flowers should be placed at 65 º.
An important point is that : While performing the arrangement of flowers should be cut under water (in a container extra). This will allow a longer duration of them.
nageire Style ("Down or dropped.") It is done in deep vases without the use of Kenzo. In place of them using "auxiliary branches," which cut through its center (the stem) an inch or two, depending on the length of the three main stems (Shin, Soe and Hika) which are similar to those of moribana style and introducing to see in these branches, intertwined, with the same proportions relative to the vase. There
the same styles and others, highlighting the Suishin (hanging style) where the main branch "SHIN" is below the mouth of the vase. It also highlights in this way the volume spacious.

Lisend To East Side Story Oldies For Free

Article by Carmen Herrera Abel Zilka

This letter, addressed to William Murphy Del Cueto Sensei, was written by Carmen Zilka, Cuban living abroad. Buddhist Meditation Practitioner "Vypassna." Represented by, SN Goenka, who visited the "Bushin Dojo" in Cuba in 2008.

Dear G. Murphy,
My name is Carmen and email address I was given by Max Roy.
visit Cuba in recent days and although on previous visits, my friend Maya, had insisted that visit Bushin Dojo, just this last time it was possible.
I was born and raised in San Francisco De Paula, Roy's name was unknown to me, rather I remembered from when I studied in high school, I never exchanged a word and I have a vague memory of his image as a youngster.
What was my surprise when I visit "Bushin Dojo" and I found that Master full of gray hair and respected by all. There
arrive without the slightest idea what was going to find, even with the certainty that let us pass, only with referral from my friend, who had practiced Tai Chi with Roy and how beneficial it had been for her.
Upon arrival, the master Roy was at the door and after a brief introduction that Maya gave us kindly invited us to go. My first impression of the place was a crash, "a Japanese garden in San Francisco De Paula, who is" in the middle of no where. "
Japanese gardens and Japanese design in general, from architecture to arrange floral more to like, I love. From where the attraction, I do not know, just know it's visceral. The hobby of my husband and mine is to visit gardens. In Japanese style, something like that I feel at home, not that, certainly not that of San Francisco.
Well my first view of the garden of Bushin Dojo was a critical eye more than the pond there in front of Maya and I sat down to enjoy the atmosphere and talk of what surrounded us. I have some bonsai, I am not even a newbie, only part of my fascination with the perfection of their style, so I really enjoyed those in the garden.
At some point in our conversation, Roy joined us, I imagine that as part of the tradition to meet a visitor. My dear friend Maya is characterized by idealizing the people and she sees a great Master Roy of recognized nobility of character and spirit. For me, at that time Roy was nothing more than the "gang" who practiced karate which had a vague memory of high school times, now dressed in a suit of Samurai.
My first instinct when someone presents me Maya, I think she has idealized, is to submit to more rigorous and scrupulous testing. So also did my Master of Yoga, Eduardo Pimentel, when she introduced us and which I consider not only her student for life, if not his sister.
For just started to look not only to teachers but to all who were there and the conversation went inside and my doubts were running out. All of a sudden, someone comes to us with tea, and I know of needs that I was touched that they wanted to share a few things, but that was our tradition as Cubans caught my eye ... he who brought us tea, not served until the Master did not invite him, which I interpreted as a sign of respect, maybe it was that there was not much more, but I preferred to stay with the former.
By the time I felt more at ease, we were invited to go inside the Dojo, where students were practicing. All so cute in their uniforms of tradition, the instructor gave us a majestic greeting students nor immutable, they everywhere.
Before entering the practice room, leave their shoes by the door, I realized that all the shoes were lined up and paired, easily could have made ordered mine too, but chose not to, leaving them as you want. As if to say, well I'm hearing, I apologize for letting them watered but do not consider it my discipline.
Then, from inside, I saw the Master putting my shoes and I was embarrassed not only by deliberate action, but I found this gesture, which may go unnoticed for many, acceptance, discipline and humility. Inside
teach and explain to us as we wanted to see and ask. Of course, concerns and curiosity of the recently discovered the warm water. From the wood floor all done by hand, but curiously made, to fix Tokonoma show how much dedication to work there everyone, from receiving, which I imagine it all, even those who teach. I know I was given more information than I could capture and movement of students was not told anything to my blind eyes to this art.
Once outside again, take a new look to the garden and this time I discovered something different, even with much food for so little space, I found much love and many desire to do and to show that there is a different way of being. One way aligned with nature and tradition.
I've told all this, because to say he was impressed with the respect and expertise of the place does not say much, it's just a phrase. I just saying the same thing as a story, it got more.
From there I went as Pilar Martí's poetry "Pink Shoes" and also wanted to leave my blanket and my ring. In fact I left my Sukiya Living magazine, which while not as valuable to others, it is for me, of course not without devoting a part of my meditation to achieve something hardly de-addiction.
Roy told me you was his first teacher and I live requested to write to him telling him about my impression on Bushin Dojo, and I know how much I love and respect is a Master, telling has been a pleasure. Please excuse me for having spread, it is just not how to express in two words what it is fascinated with that oasis of spirituality and good manners, and also because people do not know about recently.
My respectful greetings to you,

Carmen.

Saigo Tanomo Legend, Faith, and perseverance, "Interview with teacher

Saigo Tanomo
Legend, Faith, and perseverance. "

By: Max Roy Fernández Rodríguez.

This excellent teacher of the sixth generation descendant of Emperor Seiwa (Seiwa Tenno). He was also known as: Chikanori Genzo (Hoshina Genshi) who was a leading strategist, advisor and grand master of martial arts in the Aizu Clan (in Aizu Wakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture) was born in the family Kikuchi 1829, in Kyushu and died in 1905.
studied the secret art of "In Yo Ho" (method of "Yin Yang," associated with the strategies of Aiki, a unified system of vital energies through breathing control to counteract any opponent attacks leveraging the strength and aggression of the latter), his teacher Soemon Takeda (1758 - 1853).

was also a connoisseur of swordsmanship known as Misoguchi Koshu Ryu and Ryu, among other styles of martial arts related to the vast array studying this so-called samurai clan. Saigo

Tanomo, made an arduous and meritorious work to write new scripts, named "Makimono," after reviewing the older ones, which gave copies to the families of the main "Hatamoto" (Samurai high rank and importance) of Aizu Han

The life of this cult and important teacher of Art Oshiki Uchi, is colored by events of great historical and legendary episodes, but to see, marked by painful aspects, such as misunderstanding that had of his great vision, when he advised Lord Matsudaira of the imminent destruction of the Aizu clan and the possible strategy to avoid massive bloodshed, if valued not confront the imperial forces and allied clans are numbered. Otherwise, as eventually happened, he tried to see that this would bring the opposition to the changes proposed by the Emperor during the "Meiji Restoration" and would lead to genocide, for families of the clan and thus the loss of their genealogy. Unfortunately his wise advice went unheeded, and he was unfairly branded a traitor and almost sent to Hokkaido to meet a given mission.

What happened next was something "heroic," but at the same time terribly unnecessary. Finally, "The Aizu Clan" fell under the military potential of the firearms used by the imperial government, after a bloody battle, due to its high resistance.

Tanomo Saigo's family, believing that this was dead and likewise uphold the principles and ideals of its traditional codes, which in his view would be abolished and sullied by the new changes that are predicted by the nascent government, committed ritual suicide (SEPUKU) by a method known as "Harakiri." Among them were his mother, his wife, five daughters and fourteen other members family.

On his return from his mission, Saigo Tanomo is between chaos and loneliness, but with a selfless spirit, stands to this painful event and becomes a Shinto priest, changing its name to Genshin Hoshina. He then begins to reside in the temple of "Tsutsukuwake," in Fukushima. It is here that he perseveres and is dedicated to collect all the documents the legacy of the Clan, including a large number Uchi Oshiki of techniques, very well organized, (similar to those that were taught, much later by Takeda Sokaku. From which attest to the manuscripts belonging to Haginojo Akihiro Shiota, grandfather of Saigo Tanomo) It is in these times he child decides to adopt as Shida Shiro (1863 - 1922), later known as Shiro Saigo, to teach the art of Oshiki Uchi and preserve the tradition of it. Unfortunately

Shiro, leaves this purpose for some time, and joins the emerging "Kodokan Judo," which was already developing the master Jigoro Kano, the founder. Saigo Shiro reputation gives the Kodokan Judo, beating at all clashes with other schools of Jujutsu, their opponents with great skill, in which he used variations of techniques, Saigo Tanomo his father had taught him, for example, the famous "Yama Arashi (Storm on the mountain). This was reflected in the novel "Judo Saga" which perpetuates the life of Shiro, who is known as Sanshiro Sugata. "

Establishing an explanatory parenthesis, it is very important to explain that Tanomo Saigo taught prior to these events , many people, descendants of the families of the clan, and personal friends of him than unjust accusations, were expelled before the fall Aizu domain, and these were kept in complete privacy with new identities, teaching the martial traditions of Oshiki Ushi, only his closest relatives, after settling in other areas of Japan, as in the case of Yasuhiro Ichikawa, Hanmura Iezuke , Hanmura Morimasa, Taro Shima, among other personalities who led and gave rise to what is now a private organization called "Daito Ryu Aiki Bujutsu Ryu Saigo has Rengokai Ko" and others that ultimately did not join, or are currently related to this. This is recorded in the collected letters of these families, but not in the public domain. In these letters also speak of the intimate relations of friendship and Saigo Tanomo and considerable technical knowledge and impeccable Saigo had on Oshiki Uchi). Again

mission Tanomo teacher seemed diluted, but in 1876, he met Takeda Sokaku in the temple Tsutsukowake. The young and impetuous Sokaku, was grandson who was his teacher (Soemon Takeda) and the same, for a time after the primary encounter, became one of his main students and "Chuko not So" or the restorer and main bridge between the two periods, the ancient and modern, which allowed the ancient legacy of the Aizu Clan persists. Saigo

Tanomo, recommended Sokaku Takeda, teaching public art, even to non-descendants of the Aizu clan, therefore, is Saigo Tanomo deserves full recognition for the effort and the transcendent success in the dissemination and preservation of art Oshiki Uchi, now well known as Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu .

is worth noting the interesting and beautiful legacy ethical and philosophical Tanomo Saigo left for subsequent generations of teachers and students of the noble art of Daito Ryu. His high spirit of perseverance, discipline, compassion and love of peace, and kept alive in contemporary organizations are imparting wisdom teachings. He never failed to establish as a main rule for their students, maintaining a strict parallelism between "education and knowledge of rules of conduct and etiquette and appearance Oshiki combative Uchi (Daito Ryu).

He is attributed phrases such as:

"Knowledge creates humility is part of wisdom. Modestly maintained skills are part of Honor. Knowledge and skills that promote arrogance are part of stupidity. "
" If a man admits that harmony and peace are your goals, believe in your wisdom. If the disdain, believed only in his fear. "
" When searching for a man to teach him the art of war, choose the one who most loves peace. "

is enough, here is summed up his whole personality. He Tanomo Saigo, was and still is a paradigm to follow for any generation of people traveling, correctly, the "Way of the Martial Arts," and more, for those who still have not found it, for he is a immaculate example, noble warrior, a man sensitive, intellectual and very wise teacher, characteristics such that in the days that pass, are emerging eminently necessary for each individual, much more, when the treachery, disloyalty, cynicism, the social envy and hatred, prey of the soul of men and sets out excessively, manifesting in the most mundane daily abuses against human integrity, reflected in the wars and socio-political conflicts.

For this reason, too many explanations. It requires a call to reflection for the study of life, conduct and work of men like him.
We for our part we say in honor to his memory: Master Saigo Tanomo-soke, your name will not be forgotten or stained as long as love and compassion in us, you understand. Alive in the memory of the new generation of Budokas who faithfully follow the legacy of the Aizu Han, for despite the turbulent and difficult times through which passes the Bujutsu and Budo, to remain in effect the message knew you wisely left to the future of Daito Ryu: "When you hit the current of a river flowing there is no trace of water."

NOTE: This paper belongs to the Cuban Association of Daito Ryu Aiki Bujutsu Ryu Ko-Saigo has to study and dissemination of this martial art traditions.

Rca Cable To Usb Cable At Radio Shack

William Murphy Del Cueto, Hanshi. WHY

(Menkyo Kaiden of Daito Ryu Aiki Bujutsu)

Max Roy, became a student our recommendation. Somebody recommended him as a teacher and someone recommended him as a student. We could say it was "Karma" accept a student but not limited to the decision of a moment. The first step a student takes to enter a dojo, it just means you are allowed to leave their shoes at the entrance, the process begins later. It has more to do with the character of the student, whose physical presence in the Dojo. For maximum Roy was just that. There is no better way to describe the formation of character than by quoting a phrase Budoka teacher Yasuhiro Ichikawa: "It is the constant flow of water in the river, which transforms the rough stone polished pebbles."
Spirit a Budoka not formed by adding things, but reducing the superfluous, inappropriate, as if carved in marble. If the fiber interior, if the center is correct, the result is good, but it is, is regrettable.
There are many reasons that motivate a person to learn martial arts, but very few of those reasons remain, once a person discovers that the true Budo and realizes that the worst opponent who looks at him face to face from the other side of the mirror, nothing stays the same, recognizing that awakens the spirit and transforms the character. The strong keep your eyes open and their spirits grow. The weak close their eyes or look away and all the knowledge they receive becomes arrogance, which poisons the mind and destroys the value and dignity of learning. But when a sincere Budoka is the first time in the right way, it recognizes and knows he has come to the right path.
Budo not respond to common logic. If a Budoka can list ten reasons why the martial arts practice and is able to describe a list of the benefits it provides, in general these expressions are more rational than logical. A real Budoka approaches the Budo and remains in the more affinity of spirit that by logic or necessity. The real Budoka activated at the moment he opens his eyes when he wakes up and Budo is so necessary for him to breathe, it would be easier to forget his name be forgotten that is Budoka only person who feels he can truly understand these words, however.
When a new student enters the dojo, it always does with his empty glass, but some see offered himself as a student genuinely poured everything in it and offers it back to the teacher refill, according to their own opinion and if this is an offer made with modesty and without expectations.
When a student reaches the Dojo mediocre attitude is like Ryu or questions to the teacher: What can you give me so I know if it's worth I get in? But the attitude of a true student is expressed differently, says what he says: What I can offer myself to deserve to be allowed to enter? The student mediocre technical ambition by the dozen. The student gives real value and appreciate each one, one by one. More reveals the value of a Budoka in the sincerity of the slope that runs as an expression of respect, that in the execution of their techniques and this is perceived very well at the end of this process. Therein lies the difference. So the student defines himself and so each teacher discovers which is the fiber of the student and if you put the center that defines the true Budoka.
In each of these circumstances, Max Roy opted for the right ones and that is what explains its acceptance and growth Ryu Budo and why today, has the knowledge, responsibility and privilege of being a teacher of Daito Ryu. Its efforts in spreading and strengthening of Daito Ryu in Cuba have been more than satisfactory, have been exceptional, commendably appreciated, and have led the praise of Ichikawa Sensei, in more than one occasion, to our satisfaction.
recognize that their students share the merit of their efforts and good results, but emanates from him as a teacher by example. True Budo
has nothing to do with violence or aggression, not the cult of personality, not to accumulate medals and moments of glory, on the contrary, "nasake," which means compassion or kindness, is the first virtue of Budo and its first and most important contribution to society. The more predominant, rudeness and cynicism, more is required of the nobility of true Budo and more is required of teachers who are able to accept it in word and example the right way.
If we should ask Roy Maximum describe, we could do with just one sentence: "Nichia I KORE DOJO" Life is a dojo. For budoka true, in that sentence and all said.

To learn and teach BUJUTSU KO Ryu?

By: Max Fernandez Rodriguez Sensei Roy

Countless are the times when we felt the rigor conflicts that revolve around individuals with insulting accusations intended to be allowed to receive "the teachings served in a dish according to your tastes, with a total unconditional, for a price as a meal in a restaurant." Its foundations erroneous and lacking a sound and logical reasoning, show their total ignorance of what really teach in a dojo where you supposed to learn and train the ancient and traditional martial arts "Ko Ryu Bujutsu."

Even more regrettable is the fact that students who are accepted as members of our dojo, spent some time holding practices leave unfavorable criteria discover their weak spirits of self-indulgence and weakness of character. His angry nuanced theories of theatrical performance plunge into whiny melodramatic exclamations such as: "Are modern times in which we do not have to cling to outdated codes of conduct of medieval Japan, besides that stupid teacher is very tough and demanding, we need some freedoms. "

But we know very well which "freedoms" they refer, and we also know that if that same group of people are meeting at a gym and are taught only the technical part of art, which logically originated from the same, as in medieval Japan, they would not express the slightest protest. If a similar way as to affect or instruct them to harm others, or as dramatically walked away from a possible attack, executed by a criminal carrying a sharp weapon, or if they themselves finally join us to make technical executions "never seen" surrounded by a large audience applauded and cheered as the same arena of the Roman circus, we would be sure that none of these students would reject the offer but on the contrary they feel comfortable and up to admire the great effectiveness that have the strategy and our style technique. In this way we would be lifted and not even they would contradict the students, not us, who instruct and teach.

This is a good catalyst for any instructor spirits as we want to teach Bujutsu Ryu Ko.

Advocates "freedoms" and criticize us, just get even convince more of their latent fears, because these codes of conduct that they criticize and reject, are exactly the same as the wisest teach principles that limit their desire to kill stupid , to appear arrogant to others to obtain personal benefits that enhance its uncontrollable egotism and refute their filthy cynicism and sarcasm to the noble traditions, culture, ethics and discipline of Bujutsu.

far we have wanted to make a preamble to make the first step on the long road that leads to knowing what the real cause of teaching Ko Bujutsu Ryu these days here in our "Bushin Dōjō."

start explaining again that the instruction and practice of true Bujutsu, requires extreme discipline and flawless body and mind, very difficult, so yes, to accept in these times we live. A selected number of students may be one that truly abides by the right path and be able to accept and comply with strict codes ethical and moral behavior that their styles demand, we teach what we are taught, and what they have taught for many centuries an unblemished spirit masters, whose names are contained in a legendary and historical style family genealogy. We have no right, nor intend, to change, or adapt anything to the personal comfort of each student. Thus in the Dojo in relative anonymity, wearing our Keikogi (standard practice) every day teach, learn and form the spirit (Seichin Tanren), which we know our weaknesses and our strengths. Without pursuing, rank, ribbons, but holding firmly rooted in the heart the yearning that someday we really appreciate as teachers, not what you know but by what we broadcast, without any fear, teach others this legacy is our first case, there are many reasons for this. We would be traitors to our Ryu accomplished if we let at least not a prolific seed, better than what we planted in our respected teachers. This is undoubtedly a continuous and never-ending struggle for us all, since learner Ko Bujutsu Ryu must ask yourself every day, whether it is worthy to receive the instruction of art practice, since it is a very great privilege to be instructed in a art that is not ours by inheritance. Each member must earn to be worthy of each principle and each technique, for it should never take lightly the teachings of his master, or judge, and even criticize it, creating negative splits in every heart of those who comprise the membership of the dojo.

traditional Bujutsu The student must make a decision for life to arrive at the dojo, and made through it. He must learn and engage in Ryu with the same intensity with which delivery devoutly to his other vocations. For example, if he were an artist surely would all spiritual energies at the precise moment which has slid his brush on the canvas to get the picture desired in this way with the same subtlety he must make every effort to learn on the mat, with a similar attitude must learn to handle the sword in the dojo and even better, outside it, brush bar and then define a single artist.

in a dojo where we teach traditional Bujutsu, classified students are not allowed among us as "Niwatari Komon No" because they are unfit to show their breasts (on the lapel of their uniforms) our precious "Mon" (family crest style ) because their purposes and personal priorities to arrive at the dojo are totally opposed to the noble virtues we teach, because our best advice is: When you enter a dojo, stay out and to reaffirm that cite Ichikawa Soke's words: "Better a diamond shattered a stone untouched." Thus there is no purpose to keep the Dōjō individuals who do not have the best attitudes, which we can not even trust his words. Of course it always appears in their excuses for disloyalty and dishonor.

New generations of students of traditional martial arts should reflect and not be absorbed by the folly, to relinquish his duties and debts of gratitude as budokas Ko Bujutsu Ryu as we learn and teach today in its purest expression is a endless way to humiliate the spirit, rebellious and vain that we have generated in us at every step in the transit of our human existence, through their practice honestly have the option to train and submit no claim of supreme pride and sincere love that emanates the center of our hearts crying out with powerful echoes the true essence of the parcel of man on earth and hard and difficult work hard against any ordeal in his short life, that is in harmony with the entire universe provide comfort to others and give you the peace that he hopes such faith. It is also, like many other ways is a worthy way in which a man without being religious, you can find in this world the true face of God.

teach well and we hope that this is understood as Bujutsu is contrary to negative feelings such as pride, hatred, vice, vulgarity, rudeness, etc. pursue the values \u200b\u200bobtained with "Shugyo Shin" are, first, keep intact the rich history of the most precious and subtle human virtues, which in our view, and many more people remain current today, but quite the opposite, are more necessary than ever in a world as we have been taught that religion is practiced more cynicism and humanity with their large donation of injustice and indifference, as the water tends to run to the lowest places.

to a dojo where we intend no other real reason to transmit the teachings of Bujutsu, students should aim to find the ultimate aim of transferring the Tori, a place where they can find the formula to live loving and helping each one other. As taught in "Nisshinkan" Aizu clan "MizuIrazu" They (students) should never compare the dojo with a "gym" and that there are enormous differences between them, this misunderstanding is a major cause of rejection that they tend to have to the traditional teachings.

In a gym, do not exist not teach or require ethical behavior, not breathe a true harmony, this is just a room where you can be (through the practice of forms of combat) uneducated individuals, murderers, egocentric, narcissistic and devoid of the most basic concepts of discipline and ethics.

in a dojo teach and practice codes and rules that every student not only to memorize, but internalize the depths of his spirit, to be applied in every moment of your life. As an ambassador of our style, examples of these rules of conduct are established by Kyu Ho (arc method) of the family of the Minamoto clan (after the Aizu clan) cited in some of its headings:
"A pupil who has a true spirit after his blade clean in the eyes of his teacher and twice at home."
"Voice makes no prying ears measured in enemies."
"When the fish starts to rot your bad smell in our nostrils as advertised, when the nature of a man begins to deteriorate his foul language as noted in our ear."
"The samurai who seeks break from their duties in Sake and dance, is loyal to sake and dance. Not the clan. If a samurai finds no solace in his duties, has lost his way. " etc. We could continue quoting

many other more, but more enough, so with this offer, reflection, analysis and comparison of those people who criticize us because we teach traditional Bujutsu. Bujutsu is to look with subtle heat the spirit of man, not attack, or kill, as it tries to show. Tanomo Saigo, Aizu clan priest expressed it clearly showing what the correct way to learn, he wrote: "Cultivate your spirit and the sword will follow, neglect your spirit and the sword will become false and shameful."

"When searching for a man to teach the art of war, but love those who choose peace."

remains now, honestly, define who errs, if the virtues and principles Ko Ryu Bujutsu broadcasting or great ignorance and unreasonable fear of those who criticize our art, new seeds have the responsibility of students sitting astride on their shoulders to define it, depends on them bury these values \u200b\u200bthat humanity needs both, or impregnate the future of moral impoverishment, a practitioner must know how to climb Bujutsu divinely tall and dignified, taking its first firm step in the lower base of the slope. Our statement does not differ at all from this.

THE KEIKO, A CALL FOR REFLECTION

By: Max Roy Fernández Rodríguez.

Somewhat trying to imitate and practice the enormous and unwavering patience that held our teachers to instruct and to which we must learn what we learned and to try as they did and do, transmit his teachings today, but no less alert and reflective combining compassion with dislike, at times we listened to the students that start and even those who have long been in the Dojo, to learn the ancient legacy of providing the Ko Bujutsu Ryu, expressed without conscious and deep analysis, their demands, what they regard as a right to be granted. Their topics and views are diverse, but without the slightest knowledge of the three virtues of spiritual development that are "look" , "accept" and "correct" . Some of their "applications" emerge on the foundation of how to set (as their accommodations) and implemented codes of ethics and rules of discipline in the Dojo. This gives us the exact measure that they know fully, as required by the provisions of Bujutsu and Budo, but we also know that fiber emanating from these hasty spiritual "needs" these baseless claims and these childish cries. Sometimes merciful truce offer in the hope that they meditate and self-correction, in order to reach the desired maturity is needed in the life of a Budoka and grow in them a virtual concept of humility. In our experience, unfortunately we have observed that many of these individuals unable to accept these codes of conduct eventually become genuine apostates of Ryu, clearly demonstrating the poverty of their spirits and their cynical sarcasm towards the legitimate tradition of art that are treated teach.

Generally proclamations revolve around training time should they spend, because for them it is sometimes "too much." A modification and adaptation of the label and duties outside the walls of the Dojo, to complicated and hectic "lifestyle", the cliché of social pressures, their very exclusive home-based care which includes the sublime and comprehensive "devotion" by the wife and children, which apparently shows that they are the only parents in the world, among other justifications arising as a storm hits the good behavior of other students in the membership of a Dojo. There is a controversial subject, which does not want to talk, but given their Foundation training very subtle touch it carefully, it is the reminder of the payment of duties or the contribution students make to the maintenance, ornament, shopping and various activities that must be met in a traditional Dojo, and why not for supply also obvious economic needs of the teacher. It is appropriate to point out and remind these students that this topic of "money" or "payment" is not a matter to be discussed in the Dojo and much less to a teacher or instructor, then as required by this tradition of true Budo is in very poor taste and unacceptable for a teacher, as this may hurt his honor and be to see an offense directed towards Ryu. A teacher does not teach his art and delivers years of effort and dedication, to enrich themselves, but also compared the number of students that selected as his future disciples, it becomes illogical and unrealistic, because the real Bujutsu (Budo) never considered the "money" just over and offered lessons for a teacher Budoka this will never be the main element and that its legacy and instructions are for a matter of duty, not something for personal gain. This is a clarification for those individuals who in addition to his felony believe they can receive instruction as if this were the mandatory teacher because they "pay" a monthly reluctantly. This is totally absurd. It is the spirit that is offered by the student, who provides the opportunity and privilege of the teacher to show your "Kuden" , no monetary amount that students can donate. Objectively this is a test of a spiritual nature that shows their intention and expresses his true feelings and sincerity towards Ryu and his art, not at anyone in particular. While it is recognized that the teacher must also feed his family, but this will never be a requirement by which the advocates. He never asked anything personal, so the receipt will be placed according to their duty and just accept it if it is delivered, kindness and love from those who truly consider their master, the hearts of those who truly appreciate their efforts and unshakeable their basic needs. This decision is an analysis and a personal concept, dignified and confidential, not something that should be made public because doing so would lose the concepts and sacrifice, and their true value. It would be far more meritorious not give "homework" to do it and then promote demands or claims. This is a case in which students must think hard, because when someone becomes an official member of a Dojo, help Ryu health and welfare of teachers is a strict and inviolable responsibilities that they must fully comply.

The theme of family and home, as we have said is an issue that is misunderstood sometimes and others it becomes a shield to protect negligence. Everyone knows that family is the foundation of marriage and man's existence. There is nothing more important and dignified. The history of our art is closely merged and based on the total universality of the concept. The parent organization of our own style because of the love and goodwill that requires the attention of the family. But these obligations should be encouraged each other. It may seem difficult for some to consciousness sometimes claim that the duty of being a family matters budoka and march together in the context of Bujutsu and Budo, so we can say that one begets the other. Many students confuse this, and give priority to one, ignoring the other, this is "to miss the target" to shoot an arrow as they move to one side to the other and vice versa. We know that many of them are the real culprits, especially when in their homes, their close relatives have never known the values \u200b\u200band virtues of Budo, and this ignorance promotes the tendency to devalue, criticize and contradict the members of the immediate family is dedicated to the teachings or receives from a martial art traditional. But no family member has a right to sue Bujutsu practitioner to decrease in its obligations or obviate his priorities for his Ryu, in order to meet their personal needs and justify minimizing the real value of art to unfeeling despotism. No one who professes the Bujutsu and Budo, he loses his family obligations and duties towards them. In both cases this would have the same meaning: dishonor, treachery and a betrayal of love. The input and solution that could offer both emerge from the deep roots of the true feeling of love and this is based on the pedestal of mutual sacrifice that require two commitments, there is no scale to weigh them, and it should not opt \u200b\u200bfor one of two extremes. The balance and the victory was at the center, not the ends. The result obtained define the effort and the authenticity of identity and character of true budoka, even though he acknowledges that his main priority is your loyalty to Ryu.

Social pressures have always existed in the history of humanity, life as we know it is not always pleasant or we could say that almost never in transit through many obstacles that are constantly trying to prevent our harmony, our happiness, our spiritual development, mixed with the material world, when they are crossed and our integrated development we almost unattainable, then our reactions are, first of fear, then we come to reflect and our lives will take strong action to address our concepts of Bujutsu and Budo, or succumb to the hasty determinations of our impulses, then show two paths before us in our lives. As Hiroshi Kato sensei showed us a comment when he said:

"the life lived in the midst of extreme material deprivation creates two types of spirits: a sublime, that honor and abide by discipline. Another low and malleable that constantly picks the area where there is lots of better profit, regardless of what the state honor. " We must come to a reflective understanding which of the two paths will pass.

Students, which we refer to remember that in Daito Ryu (Ryu Ko Bujutsu) or traditional Budo his first duty is to respect and that they should never impose their views to that of a teacher . If you make a mistake at this point, one must accept the correction of this without excuses and without trying to defend themselves. This is the essence of spiritual training of humility and detachment from the self. Students must internalize the teacher's response is the answer final. That their views do not count. Whether they agree or not, their duties are always to remember that the master has its educational purposes, even if they understand or not. Respect forces him to accept. They only have to inquire discreetly into the depths of the concept if necessary, without complaint, without judging and without ever compromising the obedience and humility (two sides of the same coin). Students only have the right to allow the master to take their own decisions and have confidence in their motives. The teacher can make mistakes, yes and no. Yes, because it is human and we all fail. No, because it is the duty of students to accept and support what the teacher does, is not a prerogative to judge but to accept all consequences of their actions, whether good or bad. This is the noblest and highest expression of esteem and respect in Bujutsu (Budo).

traditional code Bujutsu Ryu Ko states that "a Dojo is not just a place of democracy." It is not a local. Is a pure and open heart that summarizes and covers the entire surroundings of the life of a true budoka and therefore a Bujutsu Dojo Ryu Ko demands absolute obedience to the criteria of non-derogable teacher and acceptance. A Dojo is a comfortable and pleasant home where an individual is clothed with a woolly pajamas and slippers to be fully with their accommodations. A Dojo is like the world like life where the constant tests are imposed, purify, solidify and train our spirit. The Daito Ryu teaches this and do not take his teachings and his practice as a pastime, but as something worth deserving and sincere respect all who do not accept this not to be admitted, as being a member of a dojo is a privilege and This must never be forgotten. That privilege must be earned every day, providing discipline and dedication, or offer, not having and showing full respect to our attitude towards the traditions and to the codes of conduct within and outside the walls of the Dojo. Individuals unable to sustain the inherent virtues Ryu as loyalty, humility, courage, honor, simplicity, compassion and the most important provisions of debt and duty, do not deserve to belong to a noble and rich tradition as is the Daito Ryu Aiki Bujutsu. If the interest of those who are accepted in our dojos to receive the teachings of Bujutsu (Budo) is comparable with respect and this contributes to the honor of art and their teachers, Daito Ryu may be a way that they can consider. If your desires are changing, molding, counter, ask for explanations or abolish the established concepts and rules related to ethical codes and disciplinary traditions. Ryu inherent stipulated in the Dojo, we recommend that interested, in other arts or permanently depart this way, so that others with greater humility and nobility of heart to continue.

friendly We can offer answers to the questions of those who show true dedication and his selfless contribution to provide much more than they receive, all for the welfare of Ryu, but we have no obligation to do so who made countless and constant demands and no action objecting to what for centuries past and present down the precepts of the art we practice. Neither will we accept and teach individuals "with their bowls filled" speculating "know" enough about Bujutsu (Budo) to live without to continue training in the ways " Seinshin Tanren" or "Shugyo" . To these individuals never toast or apex of explanation on the philosophy behind the traditions and symbols of Ryu, because we will never in a position that can show a false image or the perception that Daito Ryu Budo in general should give explanations of itself, nor ask for excuses for its traditions, nor justify them in any way for any individual comfort as well ignore the criticism and repeals. (Those were mistakes without knowing made in the past and we acknowledge it, since we pay dearly for our inability and our immaturity). We do not need anyone's approval or knowledge to serve as "silver trays," paying attention to orders and orders those seeking comfortable receiving the teachings without giving the least sacrifice.

We humbly hope to achieve the lofty status that one day we call budokas, without red or mourn for our sins. Those who continue with their feet on the road and the "circle of fire", we know clearly that this privilege teaches and demands that our lives do not belong to us and our feelings are a second priority for the former is the "Giri" .

why we must teach the rules of discipline, together with the traditions of our Ryu, there are topics of debate, and are not subject to the approval or opinion of anyone. They are insufficiently substantiated. The Daito Ryu Ryu Ko Bujutsu is created for men and women warriors of life "is not suitable for people self-indulgent, complex or underhanded cynical attempt to justify their weaknesses, showing to be arrogantly whips in their individualistic and insolvent criteria .

The weakness is a condition characteristic of human beings from birth, perhaps engendered by the genotypes, or a negligent inadequate training in childhood, but the greatness of a man (Budoka) is grown and identity lies in the constant "battle" to make under that exceed these limitations mostly spiritual. One suffers as is necessary, crying as soon as possible, without ignoring the pain, but continuing on the road. That is the true budoka and character, of whom I speak Hideo Hanmura sensei.

This is the true concept that we want to show students to instruct, with many still to eliminate faults, with many errors, but with much more love and perseverance, and it is our great hope that more of them choose this arduous, difficult and profound way, otherwise you will have no value so much effort, your hard work and talent as tested by many men of extreme wisdom and courage who fought and still fight for our art and our Ryu is still in use today. It remains an arduous task, an effort to "Titanic" for the future of Ryu that if demand courage, modesty, wisdom, selflessness and kindness of heart itself, knowing that often sprout new tears in our eyes, together with the sweat and pain that cause severe and corrections training for teachers, but our victories will be materialized in those who are able to continue strong and patient compliance our duty today and settle debts with those compassionate gave us the privilege and honor to be taught in an art which does not belong to us. "If anyone is fertile ground-and honest-to consolidate these ideas will suit us a lot to share with him or her our modest knowledge and be always at your disposal."

The real way goes on tour with our physical eyes and the question Who will cover? But we do our spiritual eyes to see beyond the human limit, and we understand that this is only open our hearts knows the correct and proper cultivation of our spirit.

This depends largely on you. An old and a new generation of real budokas and find their way in time and should be merged to write a beautiful story without ever mediate water between their lives, as taught in the Nisshinkan.

The Daito Ryu Aiki Bujutsu Ko-Ryu Saigo has not dead, or die, we are sure, rather more force charged today. The food that we depend on and perpetuate a greater measure of love and harmony that we are able to grow and provide for the constitution of his noble and wise tradition. The case in which trust, will be the effect of future generations. We must have faith because "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
