On Wednesday June 30, 2010, the National Council Arts awarded the National Prize for guardianship to the project-work-LASA san agustin artistic laboratory. Created by artist, Candelario and developed with curator Aurélie Sampeur , LASA proposes a new approach art in Cuban contemporary art scene, joining a dynamic exploration of public space, not only from social point of view but also economic, urban, architectural and ecological . Since 2008, St. Augustine is investigated through a series of art actions context - the public trial - having as first references the senses: taste in 2008, hearing and vision within the framework of the Tenth Biennial of Havana in 2009, the self-perception in 2010 and touch to make in the years 2010 and 2011. Artists, architects, musicians, actors and international Cubans are invited to reside in the territory to explore and intervene on a permanent or ephemeral.
