Argentine, Mexican Americans and representatives of small publishing houses participated in a forum in which deplored gaps in the distribution and promotion of literature in political, social and artistic non-commercial patterns that favor the so-called best sellers and easy entertainment. This situation contrasts with that observed in the Cuban fair, where editing, encourage reading and to facilitate the discovery of new horizons are links in a beautiful chain.
Yesterday there was also an important La Cabaña space dedicated to scientific thought by the panel conducting science, technology and environment, coordinated by Dr. Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart.
Writers, publishers and booksellers Argentines, and the general public enthusiastically welcomed the presentation of works that highlight intimate historical ties and cultural exchanges between Cuba and the southern country: Argentina in José Martí, the historian Raul Rodriguez O, and when the Apostle traveled to Argentina, writer Raul Valdes Vivo.
